5th Grade is not as bad as you think
By Paishann

Clip to ScrapBook
Hey Allie,
Wow, what a switch! I've always thought about going the other route! It really won't be as bad as you think. I always make sure I start out telling them that class will run smoothly if we have a handle on respect. I will respect them and in turn, I want them to respect me. Allow time to get to know them and for them to get to know you. It makes it a little personal and shows them that you're not afraid to go out on a limb, they start to feel more comfortable. They're fun and what's nice is they already know how to write a sentence!
Good luck!
Paishann
