referrals

Hi Trish! Don't let those referrals ruin what could be a wonderful year. Many times it is just a certain group of students who are like this. My class last year was horrible and I spent a lot of time writing referrals. I'm still looking forward to next year because it's like starting all over again. A new set of kids and a chance to begin again. Just get rid of those referrals and think positive. We all have to deal with some situations but you'll have a lot more problems if you go in thinking they will be "bad". It could also be that the teacher picked on every little infraction. Sometimes you just have to let some of the little things go with a simple talk instead of a referral.
