Masters
By Colleen

Clip to ScrapBook
I hear you about meaningless classes. I saw the requirements for a master's and decided that since I had to pay for the classes myself (I teach in a Catholic School except for $200 a year)I would take what I wanted. I
got an APC (advanced professional certificate) I needed 30 credits(15 masters and 15 staff development). I paid for only half of the classes since staff development classes were free. I made sure I took things that I could use. Luckily, I found many that were great. Most importantly,I made lots of friends going to classes with all kinds of teachers. My pay is the same as if I had a Masters.
I only want to teach, not specialize so it was the best option for me. I was at the place in my life that I could not afford to waste my time or my money.
