5th grade theme

Hi ChrisieI'm working on my theme now. Since we will be studying lines of latitude and long.and reading road maps (including distance and mileage in math). I am making my theme travel. On the bulletin board I put up lots of unfolded road maps.The border is road signs and it reads: Let's Explore 5th Grade
In the corner I have a reading center with lots of ship "stuff" including a small bookcase boat. On the window of the reading center I'm going to write AHOY and allow the kids to write their names in red, white, and blue.That's all so far.
