Guided Reading

If I were you I would find out what the district's reading program is about. In my district they keep pushing guided reading, so I would definitley do a guided reading lesson. There's a wonderful book that has lessons in it for guided reading. It's called Guided Readers and Writers Grades 4-6 By: Irene C. Fountas and Gay Su Pinnell. Hope this helps!
