I teach 2nd grade and there is no other grade that I would rather have! You will love them! They are so eager to learn! If you are excited about what you are teaching, your excitement will be reflected back to| you. Prepare to be adored! They definitely need modeling and a set schedule. I like to put the day's schedule up on the board (off to the side) -- they love checking things off as we accomplish them (and they enjoy teasing me if we get off task). In my classroom, my children really enjoyed having jobs, a 'star' of the week, partner reading and lots of hands on activites. Remember to | |
