"2nd grade science"

What state do you teach in? These are the topics I teach in fifth grade. In my state our second graders learn about balance, soils, and butterflies(the life cycle). I would check with your state standards and your districts performance indicators to make sure that is correct. These concepts seem to be tp advanced for a second grader to grasp let alone a second grade teacher to teach.
