Pregnant with Broken Ankles

Susan I hope you won't start in September! We as teachers are so dedicated to our jobs that I believe it warps our sense of reality. I am not putting you down at all. I am just saying that we as teachers are so dedicated| to these little ones that we WOULD go to school with 2 broken ankles and due in a month! Those little kids will make it just fine and will adjust beautifully if you come in after the baby (if that was your plan to begin with--coming back). That's what is so wonderful about this whole thing. Kids--MOST kids--haven't experienced enough of the world to be upset about having 2 teachers. | |
They just roll with the punches and keep on smiling. I think that is what makes us want to work so hard for them! Good luck to the pregnant ones and TAKE CARE OF YOU AND THAT BABY FIRST!!!
