attitude matters far more than age
By Elaine

Clip to ScrapBook
Attitude is the critical part of being a great teacher, not age, nor number of years taught. Thirteen years ago I took over a sixth grade classroom for a teacher who walked out the third week of school and never came back. He had taught the same grade, in the room for twenty-five years. That was my first year of teaching and I'm as excited this summer, getting ready for next year, as I was then. I've learned many things during this time, but the most impoartant is that I love teaching and learning. Attitude matters!
