Age
By Sabrina

Clip to ScrapBook
I am 24 and this will be my third year teaching 4th grade. Age does not matter in the classroom with the kids. It is more about your attitude and willingness to try new things. However, age does matter with the parents. I had no problems my first year but I had many comments about my age during my second year. The first comment one of my parents made to me was "Oh my you are young." At the end of the year one of my parents wrote on her end of the year evaluation that she wants to see "less young, childless, teachers" which really hurt my feelings.
