epals

Hi! I used epals last year and really enjoyed it. I signed up myself/classroom. Then, after I had written permission from everyone's parents, I plugged their names into my account. Epals assigned them their own addresses.| However, what I liked about it was that after the students typed in their messages to their epals they could go ahead and send it. It went straight to MY account! Later, when I had more time I would go through them, approve them, and send them to the other teacher's account. She, in turn, would approve them and send them to her classes individual's addresses. It was great and really | |
safe! I do advise that you have several computers in your room or have access to them on a regular basis. We only had one in our classroom, and it was hard to keep up at times. Also, I had a small class and found most to be bigger. My students and I loved learning about other countries though!
