What if I don't have any bulletin boards?
By Bob K

Go to Home Depot or other similar stores and look for whiteboard. Whiteboard is made of the same material that the bulletin boards (and acoustic ceiling tiles) are made of. It comes in 4' x 8' sheets, for about $10.00.
It is very lightweight and easy to handle (carry). You can mount it to your walls with 6 or 8 sheetrock screws (you don't need to find studs).

Essentially, you get a $90 bulletin board, minus the aluminum frame, for $10. Once you put up a paper border, no one can tell the difference. It is also very easy to cut, so you can mount other sizes of bulletin board wherecver you find space.

For example, I mount one on the back of the door to use that space as well.

I also cut it into strips (about 2" wide) and mount the strips above my blackboard. I can then display student art projects across the length of the blackboards.

Very handy stuff, and all of my administrators have let me use it because it does not permanent damage to walls other than leaving small screw holes, which can be easily filled if the next teacher doesn't want the bulletin board.
