What a wonderful event! Your kindergarteners this year are so lucky to get this experience! I'm sure that the children and their parents will be very excited for you! Plan to share the ultrasound video with you class, bring in examples of the baby's new size/weight after each OB visit, plan language experience stories around your student's questions and comments, and see if you can arrange a fieldtrip to the maternity ward of the hospital where your baby will be born. Your pregnancy is a ready-made theme to build lots of science, language arts, and math experiences on. (For social studies, check out the book WELCOMING BABIES.) I wish you well!!!
