can't get school off your mind
By Carolyn

Clip to ScrapBook
This will be my sixteenth year of working with public school children and I have to say that I sometimes obsess too much about school. I guess you could say that it is probably a TEACHER characteristic, not a just a new
teacher characteristic. Throughout the summer, I called fellow teachers. We are going to start school on Thursday, August 9, and I have been compulsively checking over my class list and getting things ready. I have spoken with my fellow teachers about the students I am going to get. I will probably go in even before I have to to begin working on my room.

I think that this year should

be a lot easier for you, since you aren't coming in at the last minute as you did las year.

Tell you the truth, I don't think there's any hope for us compulsive-obsessives.
