I found an idea for geography with football. Place a U.S. map on your wall with the words, "Pigskin Geography." Give each child or pair a paperhelmet from an NFL team. As the season progresses, have the helmets moved to the city on the map where the team is playing for the week. This will involve doing some research on the internet or newspaper. Kids could also provide a fact about the city toe the rest of the class. Graph or tally each team's record.
