Einstein Activity

Neat idea! I worked with 6,7, and 8th graders last year as an aide and can understand the importance of them having some work to do as they come into class. What about having the "Einstein Activity" be an ongoing journal that students keep. You could post a question and have students answer it. Ask questions pertaining to the current curriculum, for review, or just to probe interest. Another idea would be for the "Einstein Activity" to be a small experiment. I'm guessing this would be tough, because classes are already short on time. I have seen a teacher use the journaling everyday. She taught 7th grade science.
