Parent Problems

Last year was my first year teaching. I taught first grade. I am 24 and look very young. However, I beleive it is how you present yourself. I had a few students ask me if I was 40. LOL They dont really have much of an idea. I did find that parents treated me different than other teachers. They could tell I was very young. I think that they looked at me as though I probably didnt know what I was doing. I was always feeling as though I had to prove myself to them.
