Latex allergies
By Debbie

Clip to ScrapBook
Hi all,
With regard to the latex allergy thing, our school last year became as latex free as possible because we had a first grader with SEVERE and life threatening allergic reactions to it...the PE equipment was totally replaced, the art, music, IMC (no computer mouse pads!), as well as child's classroom was totally cleared out. The special area teachers were given an epi pen and training, just in case...the science supply room was also cleared and we each got new latex free gloves for our playground emergencies...I read that this allergy is becoming much more wide spread, so be careful...
