A neat idea...

I saw a neat idea on the boards awhile back... Put a basket on a table or your desk labelled "Help Needed!" Anytime you come across an activity that you would like a volunteer to help with, write it on an index card and drop it in the basket. This way, parents stopping in could grab a card and perhaps do it at home. Also, parents will feel welcome to come in and won't feel like they are being bothersome trying to ask for something to do. Advertise the basket in your classroom newsletter.
