Parent involvement
By Debbie

Clip to ScrapBook
Hi all,
As was mentioned in the previous messages, there are LOTS of ways to involve parents in your classroom community. You might try soliciting help at your first Open House or Curriculum Night. Afterward, sending home a survey asking what their interests, talents are is a great idea. You'll need to brainstorm things you'd like done in the classroom and at home, then provide training as necessary. We did several family workshops, to get parents excited and involved. If you'd like specifics, or more possibilities, just post or email again. Take care! ;-D
