I know what you mean. Not only do I need a personal goal but also my dept. (special education) needs to have a goal as well. Some personal goals I have used: technology (improvement for me or how I will implement
self-improvement (teaching weakness you would like to improve on) staff relations (I'm the case manager for 12-15 special ed. students included in reg. ed. classes so one goal was to have a system of communication with the teachers.) school certification (Every 5 years our school goes through a process of having to develop a school improvement plan to stay certified.) theme (Maybe there is an academic theme you are developing this year for your students.) state standards (My teaching involves preparing students for state tests.) study skills (ways to help students remember and implement skills they learn.) Just come up with a goal then have 3 to 4 objectives on how you are going to achieve this goal.
