Clip to ScrapBook
I have a Bulletin Board labeled "Teacher's Pets". Under the heading I have 22 different "daily" jobs listed. I also have dog bones (made out of a paper pattern) with each childs' name on it. I rotate jobs (bones) every
Monday morning. These are some of the jobs: 2 messengers, 2 lunch helpers, 1 flag salute, 1 share (calls on people that will be sharing), 1 Rewards (I have a sticker chart, every time they are quiet in the hall, I have the rewards person post a sticker up towards a popcorn party, extra recess time or other), 1 computer helper (shuts down and starts up the computers), 2 board erasers (they
also wash the board every afternoon), math helper (helps put away manipulatives, helps me teach lessons during math at the board, passess out math supplies, etc), 2 paper passers, 1 homework checker, 1 line leader, etc.

Another B.B. idea is my birthday board. I covered the bb with birthday wrapping paper and then hung a goodie bag for each child (I give it to them when it is their birthday). I usually put candy, pencils, etc in the bag.

Another bb of mine is a calendar. We meet once a week in front of the calendar and come up with equations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, money, etc.) for that date. We discuss whether the number is odd or even, we keep a taaly for that date, etc.
