Book Report Ideas
By June

Clip to ScrapBook
I have the students complete one a month (except Sept.). In October, I have them complete a "Mystery" book report "mobile" or "poster", in November, a "research" (factual) book report about a Native American tribe (past or present), December they have to read a story from another country, culture, etc and bring in something that represents that culture (food, music, etc), January a biography (they must dress up like that person and present their life story), Other ideas include: board games (animal books), Story Web (chapter books), dioramas (fairy tales, etc I use the theme of a different reading genre each month with a differnt project. I also try to tie it in with events or holidays we celebrate each month.
