What you need to know...
By Lisa

Clip to ScrapBook
While I don't have any good sites to direct you too (they are hard to find, and I'm a first year teacher!), I will tell you what information will be very helpful to you. First of all, you need to learn about how students learn second languages. You need to have some ideas on what activities you would use with the kids to help them improve their language. And, since I assume this is a pull out class, encompassing many grades, you will want to have an idea of how you would adjust your strategies for each grade level.

If you have any specific questions, feel free to e-mail me (I'm a bilingual 4th teacher, so I know a lot about ESL!). I'll let you know if I find any good sites!
