I have a 3-ring binder in one spot in my room. It stays in that spot! It has 3 columns.
Name Date What's missing
They must fill in everything they are missing on a separate line. They are accountable for it. I have a homework table. Each day they pile it accordingly and then late work goes in it's own pile. When I get it I go to the binder and check it off in purple so I know they handed it in and I write the date. It comes in handy because I can keep the sheets in the binder,,,I send home weekly sheets about HW and behavior. I just have to scan the 3 ring binder. Comes in handy at conference time too. Consequence for not signing the book??? No AM meeting the rest of the week was the consequence this year.
