Clip to ScrapBook
Kathy,

We always did baskets. I have been a room mother for the past 5 years for my son. And I was in charge. Like the other post, pick a theme. This year was beach theme. I had the children each bring in at least 2 items.
It could be sunglasses, lotion, inflattable balls, water toys, etc. Most items could be bought at the dollar store. We received a huge bucket and I placed most of the items in there, The rest were attached to it. Last yr we did a 'pamper yourself basket'. this was simply things that you could relax with. Salt crystals, bubble bath, etc. We called businesses (spas, restaurants, etc)
and they donated gift certificates. Baskets are easy to do. Have your kids do most of the work. Assign each something to bring. Have them decide the theme..

Hope this helps

Trish
