Folders
By Tammy

Clip to ScrapBook
We send papers home every Wednesday. This is also when all school organizations are to send out any information to the parents. We use Brown Envelopes for the kids to put everything in. I have a storage crate set up with
file folders for each child in alphabetical order. I have at least 2 kids assigned as paper filers each week. Whenever they finish their work they can file papers. Anything that does not get filed by Wed. morning is done during homeroom. During our end of the day homeroom the kids line up alphabetically and pull the papers out of their folder. The follow the line and staple them together
with a Weekly Report on the top. The envelopes we use have spaces on them for the parent signature and date so we don't have a form for that. The Weekly Report I use gives the parents important information about what their child did that week (behavior, late or missing papers, grade check (every other week)). I hope this helps.
