"no bulletin boards"
By Tabitha

Clip to ScrapBook
I have two large bulletin boards and two long ones. I use these for posting procedures and writing corner and posters on the concepts we are learning. I use the walls on the outside of my classroom to show off my students work. I was the only fifth grade teacher doing this when I started teaching fifth grade two years ago. Now the other fifth grade teachers are starting to do the same. I find that by displaying the work outside of my room most of the time other students walking by get to read and see what my students are doing. Also my principal gets an idea of what they are doing at the time in my class. I also use extra wall space in my room to display my students work. I hate a dull drab room. I need life and color and so do my students.
