make up work
By Tammy

Clip to ScrapBook
I have it a bit easier because we do have some school policies in place for this. Our kids have an equal amount of days to make up work as they we absent. If they are absent 3 days, they get 3 days to make it up. I remind myself by using the same clipboard idea that was mentioned in an earlier post. However, we had rubber stamps made that say "Late Homework" and "No Homework". The "Late" is used when they have exceeded their make-up days. They also know that this means their grade will be lowered by one letter (if it is graded work). The "No" is a notice to the parents that the child has exceeded the make-up date by 2 days and it is now a zero.
