discipline
By Debbie

Clip to ScrapBook
Janice,The thing I have learned about discipline is this: You cannot be their friend, you must be consistant, and you must command respect. There is no such thing as a "bad class", there are only "bad teachers", or teacher's who have no control. Think about it, for three years you have been given a bum rap, I don't think so. All is not lost, though. Start off with forgetting about that, I have a bad class thing. We firm, let the kids know from day one that you are not a pushover, be consistant, raise your expectations. If you think you have a bad class, you do.
