I have been following your dialouge with the others about morning stations. I found myself toying with the idea of morning stations but not quite sure if I could make it work. I just got my schedule for this fall and found that my students go to specials every morning first thing. However, 3 mornings they come back for 40 minutes with me in class, and I am now reading about morning meetings with a more personal interest. I am thinking students could come in at that time to some independent activities as we get our day "up and running."
