I had a class like that last year. They really weren't bad kids, but they wouldn't stop talking no matter what the consequences and they just were overall a really high maintenence bunch. My best suggestion is to just keep trying and take it all day by day, week by week. It was a very long year for me, but I just kept reminding myself that it wouldn't be that way forever. One of the best things about teaching is that we're in a career where we get a fresh start each year and that while it may be rough at times, it won't be that way forever! Not many other jobs provide the opportunities to get a fresh start or change things up when they aren't working for us!
