Reading skills and literature

I use teacher resource books from perfectionlearning.com called Portals to reading or literature. They are available in lots of titles and grades. They pick out a skills such as cause and effect, main idea, inferencing, etc. for certain chapters. Each skill is focused around what is happening in the chapter or previous chapters. They cost about $17.95 each (I think), but I think they are worth it.
