A fifth grade teacher at my school used the theme a magical year. However, the parents were so offended by it, she was asked to remove it from her room. I would run your ideas by your principal and possible the fourth grade teachers who are familiar with your upcoming parents. One would really hate to put all that work and effort into something that ended up in a closet.
