Must be careful also..theme means more than just having a picture on the worksheet. An apple theme would teach something about apples, and use apples in math..like graphing your favorite kind of apple after having tasted and talked about the different kinds. It just wouldn't have pictures of apples on a worksheet..to add or subtact,.. although those could have their place in your unit also.
