Clip to ScrapBook
I do not have a TA, however, the one thing I wish I had one for is to work with my students that need 1:1 assistance from me and I just can't give them all the time they truly need and deserve. So, take advantage of this great luxury. You might try meeting with her prior to the first day (take her to lunch, perhaps during one of the "teacher" days before school) and come up with a list "together" of what will be helpful to you and the students. It will make her feel as if she has a "say" in the matter and that you appreciate her input. Good luck.
