bulletin board idea
By Brendi

Clip to ScrapBook
Hey, I don't know if this would work, but I just went and bought a bunch of holiday fabric to use on my bulletin board. If you do not have a big board in your room, you could just put fabric on the wall and tape your bulletin
board decorations to it. Another alternative would be to buy the small boards at Wal-Mart or Target. I think I bought a pretty good size one for only about $7. You could get a few of those and do several small bulletin boards. But just because you are in the higher grades doesn't mean you can't decorate. I hate a blah classroom and so will your kids. Another idea I had was to take bulletin
board paper (if available) and tape it to the wall. I had the kids just write and draw what they wanted (with supervision)with paint pens. It was really colorful and we later added pictures of them. They wrote really funny captions beside the pictures. I just want to warn you, my kids liked it so much they'd sit and read it during class. I hope this helps.
