If you have the STAR Reading program along with AR Reading program you should be able to set reading goals based upon test scores. The Advantage Learning Systems has a designed Reading Level sheet based upon the score of the STAR test that will give you a reading range for each student. Based upon the reading range students can pick out level appropriate readings for themsaelves. I have used this program for 4 years now. Ar grades are %50 of their quarterly grade. It is a lot of the grade. However it is a direct correlation to how impoortant reading is for the students. They also now that they must read the books in order to pass the class. Good Luck it is a fun program to use.
