Sports ideas

Hey Crystal, it's Crystal! This year I am going with a baseball theme for my third grade classroom. I have several ideas for this, but I'm afraid I can't help you for the other sports. One example is a center activity I plan to use. This can be done with any skill that needs practice, but I will start out writing words on a baseball mitt (i.e. small) and have another set of words on baseballs (i.e. tiny). The object is to match the baseballs with their corresponding synonym mitts. Answers will be on the back of each mitt. If you have any other ideas for my baseball room, let me know!
