Eileen, a few years ago our school used the QSP magazine fundraiser. As a result of that fundraiser, the money raised was used to purchase and Ellison Machine and many accessories for it. Just a thought for you! You can also check out local grants. We have something here called a Teacher Center which offers "mini grants" for things like this type of project.
