Clip to ScrapBook
One thing I did last year with my fifth graders is have them create a Revolutionary War skit. They had to work in a group with each person serving a certain function to help the skit develop. One kid was the historian who provided the facts for the skit. Another was the writer. One served as the group leader to help keep everybody on task. All contributed in some way to pulling the skit together. Each child was active and graded on their level of involvement in the production of the skit.
