I hear ya, too!

Clip to ScrapBook
As a teacher in a small catholic school, we recieve $35.00 per quarter from our Parent Organization. (It went up 10 dollars last year.) It doesn't begin to touch what I spend out of pocket for my class.

Adding insult
to injury is that despite the fact I spent over $600.00 last year (I had nothing for my room), and everyone saying "it is tax deductible", I was only able to claim about $150.

On the positive, most of what I purchased last year is the reusable stuff, so I've only spent about 1/4 of what I spent my first year.

I, too, wouldn't know how to act if I had more contributions from the

school, etc. for my room. I even have to buy my own masking tape, since it was such a problem trying to find some last year.

But, I am extremely happy at my school. (I'd have to be nuts not to be!)

Have a great year!
