Don't worry about your situation. I happen to be Catholic and teach in a Catholic school, but we have 3 teachers of varying faiths (Lutheran, Baptist, and Presbyterian) and sometimes parents open their mouth and express "concerns" when there really aren't any. We all believe in the same God, we all follow His teachings, and we try to teach respect for other religions (although some people forget that sometimes). Like you said, you don't "preach" to the children about the things that may be different in your faith, so you have nothing to worry about. Don't let this bother you. We are all at these schools for the most important reason- to teach children how to learn about their world while remembering God's role in it. Have a great year!
