I was a new kid last year so I had a terrible time thinking of an idea that wasn't already in use! Finally, something struck me. Why not make stepping stones! What I did was go to the local discount center or garden supply| and got 6 stepping stones. Then I painted my students hands yellow so they could press their handprint down on the stone. I did this to make a sunflower design. My fist was in brown in the middle. I then wrote their name in black beside their handprint. Then we made ladybugs using red paint on their pointer finger! these around as time goes by! I put two to three coats of polyeurathane on them to protect them from weathering. I think on the first stone I wrote something about our class and dated it! Good luck to you!
