Kathy, what an undertaking for the beginning of the school year! (as if you didn't have enough to do

Maybe your class could create a "cookie basket". Implore the help of families to create it - supply each family with a recipe card and ask them to provide a favorite recipe. Also ask for donations of flour, sugar, chocolate chips, nuts, wooden spoon, etc.

Show off just how "sweet" your class really is!
