teacher/parents/kids
By Kim

Clip to ScrapBook
While private schools do rely on the tuition parents pay, teachers and administrators alike still have the responsibility to perform their jobs to the best of their ability. That includes teaching and modeling and expecting
proper behavior, etc. There will be some parents out there who feel their children "do nothing wrong" and will fight the system no matter what school they enroll their children. And yes, some parents will take their children out of the school becauase they disagree with policy or rules, etc. But if student behavior and other important issues are not addressed by the school, then what
are we teaching our children? Someone needs to give them boundaries and expect them to follow them or we are going to be sending them into the world with an "anything goes" type of attitude. So if parents enroll their children in a private school and sign the application agreeing to the shcool's policies, etc., and then can't follow them, then it is best that they leave the school to make room for families wishing to enroll their children. It's going to happen do matter what - there will always be some family unhappy with the school. That's just they way it goes.
