Prayers
By Virginia

Clip to ScrapBook
Patricia, In the morning my first grade class prays a "Hail Mary" and a special prayer with some 'signing'....

God, Our Father
I give you today
All that I think, and do, and say.
I give You my love,
With Jesus
Your Son,
I will try and be kind to everyone.

Also we sing this song to the tune of "Sing A Song of Sixpence"

Sing to God each morning,
Sing to God each day.
Sing to God with all your heart
When you sing, you pray.
And when the day is over, there's nothing more to do
Sing to God and give Him thanks for what He gave to you!

This song is to the tune of "My Bonnie

Lies Over The Ocean"
In our class we have many children,
We're different but really the same.
In our class we have many children,
And we know every person by name.

But inside, inside, yes, inside our hearts
We're the same, the same
Inside, inside,
It's inside God made us the same!

Finally, to the tune of "Mary Had A Little Lamb"
Jesus is a friend of mine,
Friend of mine,
Friend of mine,
Jesus is a friend of mine,
He died for you and me.

Thank you Jesus I will say,
I will say,
I will say.
Thank you Jesus I will say,
You gave Your life for me.

I found these songs at the following website:

www.#####.com

I hope this information helps you -- have a great school year.
