Clip to ScrapBook
How is your school or district about taking pictures? Simply use construction paper or colored computer paper (sometimes that's cheaper) and cover a bulletin board with it. I don't know how artistic you are (maybe you know
someone who is) and draw a stencil saying "Watch us Grow!" If you have a camera take pictures of the students during different activities through out the year and post them. Kids love this! It shows them you care enough about them and you love them enough to record their growth. You can expand on this with their own writings to displayed with progress while growing. If you teach
the lower grades, kids love to measure their heights. Either get one of those growth recording things that parents often buy or simply get white paper and a yard stick and draw out feet and midway inches in between. Periodically, students can stand there and record their height. Makes a great math assignment too.
