shoestring budget

Clip to ScrapBook
I look through school supply catalogs to get ideas for bulletin boards that I can make on my own. For example: long inspirational sayings can be made on the computer using a program like Print Shop. You can use an overhead projector to enlarge a cute bulletin board character. There are fonts online that you can use for letters for your displays.
The local Dollar store is a good source for manipulatives or supplies. I have found large decks of cards that I use in math class and large dice in the dollar store. They also have seasonal decorations that you can use in your classroom.
Be creative!!!!!
Good luck,
Leslie
