You all are sooo terrific!After reading these posts, I feel so much better! And I agree, after working in the corporate world, I know the one who solves the problems get the promotion, client, etc. Here in elementary | school, there really is no outlet for the ambitious. (Which I am not.) I am honestly in it for the hugs and letters of my kids. I think that perhaps when the new, and mostly young blood comes in, it probably does steal some of the thunder.
